No More Smallies – It’s Big Cake Energy Only!

So, I’ve officially posted my follow up blog – and you know what? It feels like sending my first child off to school. A little scary, a lot exciting, and definitely overdue. Now, let’s get into it. I’ve had a good run with my classic smallie cakes and cupcakes. Honestly, they were the OGs of Deluxury Cakes (remember lockdown cakes?? they took of from those ‘rona days - LOL). Cute, dependable, loved by many. But like all great things (RIP floppy disks, DVD’s and MSN Messenger), it’s time to evolve.

From this point on, it’s all about bespoke cakes. The ones that make people stop mid-convo or stop you in your tracks and say, “Wait a min.. you made that?” Yes, that kind of cake. Here’s the thing though: bespoke means custom. And custom means no fixed prices. Because when it comes to creating edible masterpieces, one size absolutely does not fit all. Now, I’m not blind to the times we’re living in. Cost of living? More like cost of everything. I totally understand if cakes aren't at the top of the priority list right now.

But hear me out…

Let’s say you’ve got an event. You’ve found the perfect outfit – it’s giving main character energy. But your shoes? Worn out or worse, missing. That outfit is suddenly just… an outfit. That’s what a cake does for a celebration. It pulls the whole thing together. It’s the final flourish. The edible exclamation mark. Whether it’s a birthday, baby shower, or “just because” gathering – the cake matters. And yes, it does come at a cost – because I’m not just whipping up flour and sugar here. I’m crafting a moment. A memory. A slice of joy.

So the question is: are you going to scroll past and “think about it” for another week? Or are you going to send that message, share your ideas, and let’s create something delicious and unforgettable together?

Cakes in Sight - My Return !

Hello Sweet friends,

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? 2 whole months, no cake!!!

First of all, thank you. Thank you for your patience, your messages, and for understanding why I needed to take a step back from Deluxury Cakes for a little while.

Taking a break was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my wellness. As passionate as I am about baking, decorating, and bringing joy through cakes, I realized that rest is just as important as the hustle. And honestly, it was so needed. That pause allowed me to breathe, reset, and reconnect with my creativity, vision, and most importantly—myself.

Yes, it meant turning away some amazing customers (and I’m truly sorry about that), but the love you all continued to show, even in my quietest moments, didn’t go unnoticed.

I’m easing back into the kitchen with a full heart and refreshed energy. Deluxury Cakes is making its return, and while I’m taking a steady approach—oh yes, the ovens will be on!

Taking a Cake Break: Time to Reset and Refocus

Hello, sweet friends!

After a whirlwind of baking, decorating, and pouring love into every order, I’m taking a little cake break. It’s time to step back, reset, and give myself the space to refocus both personally and creatively.

This short pause will help me recharge and come back even better—with fresh ideas, new flavours, and exciting updates to share with you all. Don’t worry—I’ll be back soon and I can’t wait to reconnect with you when the time is right.

My love for baking started long before Instagram-worthy cakes and TikTok trends. Back then, I was flipping through cake books and magazines, trying out wild flavors and experimenting with vibrant colors. (Yes, some of those combinations were… let’s call them "bold choices.")
