Long time no Blog.

Yes, it’s been a HOT minute since my last entry (No pun intended). Let’s not kid ourselves the heatwave has really done a number on all bakers this year. But guess what have come to the rescue? GANACHE. Yes, white and dark chocolate ganache has really come to stay. It’s about buying all the bars and praying that your ratios serves you well. July and so far in August has kept all bakers and the fridges working over time.

So dear baker, how have you been doing? Taking more orders or slowing things down?

While the Deluxury HQ is a bit quiet, life has been good, taking things in my stride and just being present in my socials. But I do feel at times, if I am doing enough or just wishing the days away? I keep my socials going over on TikTok and Instagram, even though the algorithm thinks otherwise. But hey, I am just happy to keep going with the waves of the journey.

Recently, I have been doing some google photos reminiscing and on my cake journey. I call it “The Cake Archives”. It’s so easy to forget how one started, because these days we are chasing the latest trends or waiting for our viral moments. Crazy right? LOL. I really enjoyed looking back and created some posts on my Instagram and TikTok, so if you haven’t seen it, go have a look and get some giggles in. You will find some rookie mistakes, some interesting designs and questionable angles.

I really have to keep coming back to drop some blogs and story time here to keep this website going. At least, if I am not selling cakes, I better be writing and hope I have my viral blog moment (hahahaha)
